Christmas Stories

It was the most perfect Christmas. Snowed in over the festive season with the dark, handsome highwayman who just happened to be the disinherited son of an earl and the man Allegra had secretly loved for years. But, those idyllic days during which they ate, drank and made love as snowflakes fluttered down outside the tiny cottage window, came to an abrupt end. The rain came, the snow melted and, refusing to heed Allegra's plea to cease robbing, Richard resumed his nefarious occupation. What hope for their love now?

When the knight asked for a favour, Rose gave Gerrick a white, silk rose. For his lady, he defeated every other knight on the jousting field, and Rose was smitten with her champion. She wanted to be with him day and night, forever, but this elusive man kept leaving her, only to return at the commencement of each equinox and solstice. Finally, she discovered the door which led her into the past, but would that take her into the arms of her handsome knight?

Thea thought she was going spend Christmas alone. Instead, what should turn up on her doorstep but a blonde hunk, claiming to be a Viking from Hedeby? After several bottles of wine, it seemed only reasonable to believe him. It was her fantasy come true on Christmas day. Now she could pretend to be a thrall lying in the arms of her rugged Viking.

Have A Merry Viking is absolutely a delight to read. I immediately acquired an emotional attachment toward Thea and for a short read, that’s incredible. The author, Ellen Margret, effectively captures the enchantment of Christmas magic in a fun, imaginative way. Now I want my own scantily clad Viking wish to come true =) . I most definitely will be recommending this short story to those who love to read about sexy Vikings! Thank you Ellen Margret.

Wassail and the White Witch

The festive Christmas traditions left Alex cold, but when a lady biker rode into his life on a Royal Enfield, things suddenly warmed up nicely.

Alex was not a person who even liked Christmas but the bonds he forms with Freda are very touching. I can't give away any of this story but I must say that the twist in the plot was terrific. I didn't see the ending coming and that was very refreshing. A lighthearted and quick book with a lot of sensuality always makes for a great read.
